Igor Romanov

Igor Romanov,
Guitar, vocals

Igor is very much alike Naumov, but 11 years younger (08/08/64). In the
daytime he teaches athletics at the Institute of Physical trainig, in the
evening plays guitar and sings at a restaurant and in the meantime works
hard at his master's thesis on throwing hammer. Admirer of bluegrass music
and poetry, he appreciates delicious meals and loves beautiful women. He
knows not only how to throw a hammer, to pull strings or to sing, but he is
skillful in making poems and rhymes and composing speeches of all kinds for
various events and purposes. Romanov is well-educated, peaceful and calm.
He is a superb peacemaker, so necessary for the band at the rehearsals, and
an wonderful showman.
As a professional musician, Igor never refuses to play any music that is
paid for. He is so professional that is able to play guitar in any physical
state and with any staff of musicians.
His preferable way of spending holiday is water tourism, canoeing (with a
inseparable guitar at a campfire).
Igor has been playing guitar for 20 years. In 1987 when he got to know
Naumov and his banjo he fell in love with bluegrass and since then is its
devoted adorer.
He is married and has a daughter.
